Requirements/Eligibility

• The student must be a Wilmington resident. 

• The student is picked by the administrators from their high school. 

• The student must be continuing their education to a postsecondary trade school, a 2 year college, or 4 year college.

• The student must not fail more then one subject in college the first semester to receive the scholarship.

Students interested should apply through their high school guidance counselor’s office.  Application will be available in March in the schools guidance counselors office.

The Scholarship amount is determined by the Garden Club each year.  Currently the amount of the grant is $700.00. This is subject to change.

The June 2010 recipients are: 

Nikki Zarella  -  Wilmington High School

Brittney Cremens   -  Shawsheen Valley Tech.

PLEASE NOTE: for the 2010-2011 the scholarship amount has been changed to $500. Two (2) scholarhips will be awarded in June 2011.
